Health and Safety Policy
Basic Policy
In order to eliminate occupational accidents and reduce potential hazards, we regard health and safety as one of the most important management issues, and all of our executives, employees, and employees of partner companies shall actively promote health and safety activities with full participation, based on the recognition that "safety and health are the foundation of management," to create a comfortable working environment and to maintain and promote the health of our employees.
Code of Conduct
- We aim to achieve "zero injuries requiring time off from work and zero new case of mental illness" at all our business sites.
- We will prevent fires, explosions, and leakage of chemical substances, maintain safe and stable operations, and prepare for emergencies by considering the safety of employees in the event of natural disasters, responding to equipment and conducting regular training.
- We will comply with all laws and internal regulations related to health and safety and will strive to further improve our health and safety management.
- In order to prevent health problems caused by excessive work and mental health , we will enhance our hygiene management system and promote the maintenance and improvement of employee health.
- We will clarify potential workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments to prioritize countermeasures, aiming to achieve "zero injuries requiring time off from work" and "zero hazards," and promote the development of a safe and comfortable work environment.
- We will communicate with all employees and employees of partner companies, and implement the health and safety activities that involve all employees.
- We will invest appropriate management resources in the implementation of our health and safety activities, and will continuously make effective improvements.
Priority Items
- Identification and improvement of dangerous areas such as getting pinched caught or caught in something, and horizontal deployment.
- Implementation of Mental health care, infection control, health maintenance and promotion, harassment prevention measure, and working time management
- 5S improvement, KY activities (meaning Hazard prediction activities), risk assessment, penetration of operating Hiyari-Hatto-Kigakari (meaning activities to prevent near miss and anxiety) and preventing passive smoking.
- Implementation of health and safety education and training (education for new employees, transferred employees, mid-career employees, training for managers, etc.)
We hereby declare that we will thoroughly inform all employees and employees of partner companies of these basic policies and action guidelines through safety education and internal public relations activities and aim to achieve true "zero accidents" by steadily improving the priority items.
